Women's History Month Events

2009 Gender Conference: Come to This Sacred Place: Exploring Gender, Spirituality, Religion and Myth
The Conference will be held on April 16th & 17th, 2009 at the College of Lake County's Grayslake campus. This conference will aim to engage its presenters and participants in a conversation about gender identity and the broad category of religious belief and practice. Diverse points of view are encouraged and welcome. Deadline for pre-registration is Wednesday, April 15. Please see the Events section of this site for more details. Please note: The correct student registration fee for both conference days is $30 without Student Sponsorship.

A Club for Queer, Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered People, and Allies

Weekly meetings: Mondays beginning January 26th, 2009, from Noon - 1 in B210.
Reclaiming Eve: Feminist Discussion Group
A student-centered group for informal discussion on gender topics, ranging from pregnancy to politics.
This lively group is open to male and female students, faculty and staff. Facilitated by Pat Gonder and Teresa Aguinaldo. Reclaiming Eve meets every Wednesday beginning February 3rd 2009, from Noon - 1 in B210.
