Teenagers lead lessons in technology
Students become the teachers at after-school program

- Ken Schaffer recently bought a professional-quality camera. The Ellicott City business owner and amateur photographer wanted to learn the computer program Photoshop so he could play around with his pictures. That is why he spent a recent Thursday at Marriotts Ridge High School - where his daughter is a ninth-grader - doctoring a photo of Microsoft founder Bill Gates.

There are so many talented kids out there. There is no doubt that when those kids are my age they will be techies and computer geniuses, they were born with computers, ipods and smartphones in their hands... I think it's great our generation learns from what next generations have to offer. I totally support what's going on in that highschool. It also gives kids a chance to develop abilities that will help them become better leaders in the future.
