June 1, 2008: Anne Chernaik will be the new LTA Department Chair for the upcoming year. Anne has been with CLC since August of 2006 and taught LTA 230 in the fall 2007 semester.

May 30 , 2008: Jo Beckwith has retired from the College of Lake County. She will return to the library's reference department in August.

May 9, 2008: CLC LTA was an exhibitor at Reaching Forward, the annual conference for library support staff held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. It was a great time to meet former and present students. We also distributed information to potential future students.
