LTA Certificate

The LTA Certificate is a 32 hour program consisting of a core of library science courses and two computer courses. The plan includes one elective.

** Effective July 1, 2006, individuals holding an Illinois teacher's certification can qualify for the Library Information Specialist Endorsement by completing 32 credit hours of library coursework. For these students, the elective for the Certificate must be LTA 252 Administration of the School Library Media Center.
